Free Software

For FREE Anti-Virus scanning and removal - AntiVir Personal Edition

For FREE Firewall software:  SyGate Personal Firewall

For FREE SpyWare scanning and removal:

Visit one of the BEST sites I've found for identifying SpyWare and AdWare

NOTE:  I personally use and recommend Norton Internet Security for anti-virus and firewall security.  You can download free trial versions of their software from the previous link.  If you don't want to spend the money, then the free AV software SHOULD work just fine.  If you run Windows XP, then I do recommend you activate the free firewall software included with XP.  Remember, you get what you pay for, and I make no claims that the free software will work as well as Norton.
